When you point your domain to ClickPress by changing the DNS settings, you move all DNS management to ClickPress. This means that ClickPress will handle all DNS records associated with your domain, including A, CNAME, and MX records.

How to point your domain from Domain.com to ClickPress

Through the ClickPress site management dashboard, you can easily move DNS management and point your domain to ClickPress. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Click on Domains on the left side.

Step 2: Click on the blue button add a new domain.

Step 3: Choose the DNS management option, type in your domain address, and then click on Next step.

Step 4: If you have additional records, such as emails or landing pages, it is essential to add them. If you’re nit interetded than you click on the ‘Next step’ button.

Step 4: Log in to your account at Domain.com.

Step 5: Click the Manage button.

Step 6: Scroll down and click on DNS & Nameservers.

Step 7: Click on the 3 dots, click on remove, then click on the red button Yes, continue.

Step 8: On the DNS update page in ClickPress interface, copy the 4 records.

Step 9: Click on the + icon.

Step 9: Paste each name of the server in each box and click Add Nameserver. Please make sure to add all four 4 Name servers.

Final Step: Click Verify on the updated DNS page.

Please note: Pointing and connecting your domain to ClickPress hosting may take up to 48 hours. You can check the domain status by clicking on the three dots.

You can visit the website WhatMyDNS to track your domain referral process and notice when it points to ClickPress servers. Type your domain, choose NS, and click the search button.
